According to Reuters, Nvidia announced on June 8 that it had signed agreements in South Korea with SK hynix, Naver, and Doosan Group on AI data centers and technology partnerships. Nvidia and SK hynix will collaborate on next-generation memory for global AI data centers, while SK Telecom plans to build a gigawatt-scale AI cloud in South Korea using Nvidia technology, with its first data center due online in 2027. Doosan said it expects its energy solution to be used in Nvidia data center platforms and will also adopt Nvidia physical AI technology. Deal values were not disclosed.
